Ewurama Okine is a doctoral student and graduate teaching assistant in the Department of Hispanic Studies at Texas A&M University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Translation (Spanish-English & English-Spanish) with a minor in French from the University of Ghana, and a Master’s degree in Spanish-English Translation from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Her research interests include sociolinguistics, Afro-Spanishes, Spanish L2 acquisition, instructional technology, and translation.
